Charity Golf Day - Friday 4th July 2025
Slaley Hall Golf Club have raised over £349,000 since 1997 supporting worthwhile Charities in the North East of England. This year we are linking with Dementia UK and Willow Burn Hospice to raise vital funds for 2 worthwhile organisations very close to my heart.
The format for the day will be a Team (4) competition with the best 2 scores from 4 counting.
- Max Handicap Men 28, Women 36 (WHS cert).
- Longest drive for Women will take place on the 14th and for the Men on the 3rd.
- Nearest the pin prizes on holes 5, 8 and 15.
A Dinner and Prize Giving, Raffle and Auction will follow the golf in The Kielder Suite
- Registration and Brunch from 11am
- 12 noon there will be a pitching competition taking place from the terrace. The shot is usually around 90 yards and one chosen representative from each fourball can participate
- Shotgun start at 13:00
- During your round, between the 9th green and 10th tee there will be a putting competition for all players
- Guess how many golf balls will be lost on the day- £5 per guess
- Please remember to bring some cash for raffle tickets as there will be some great prizes on the day
We will meet in The Kielder Suite for drinks from 19.00 and dinner will be served at 19.30. During and after the meal there will be the opportunity to take part in activities followed by an auction and prizegiving.
There will be several twin/double bedrooms available at a discounted price of £75 for bed and breakfast on a first come basis.
A fourball is priced at £360 which includes Brunch, Golf and Evening Meal.
