We offer members a range of opportunities for competitive golf from scratch based league play to fun social completions.

Hadrian League Teams
We have a men's team in the Hadrian League and a ladies team in the Northumberland Ladies County Golf Association Shield League
Regular club competitions
The club organises a number of regular club competitions.
Summer (April to September)
- Saturdays - Mixed competitions. A range of singles and doubles, stableford and medal competitions.
- Wednesday - EA mixture of 9 hole, 18 hole and open and seniors competitions.
- Thursdays - Ladies competitions.
- Over the winter a winter eclectic is run. Members can submit scores played on either/both courses on Saturdays with prizes for each best eclectic 9 and 18 holes and a trophy for the best eclectic 36 holes.
Captain's Friendlies
We have annual friendly matches with the following clubs that give opportunities for higher handicappers to get some inter club team experience:
- Brampton : Home - Friday 12th September 2025 12pm Hunting
- Matfen Hall : Away - Sunday 1th May 2025
- Roxburghe : Away - Sunday 1st June 2025 CANCELLED
- The Dukes Course : Home - Saturday 1th and Sunday 15th June 2025
Club Social Golf Events
In the summer we run a social golf event on a Friday evening once a month that consists of a friendly 9 hole team event with a shotgun start such as a Texas scramble followed by a 2 course meal. This is an excellent opportunity for new members to meet others and it's a great value Friday evening for £10.

One off special competions
Through the season we run a number of special one off competitions for members:
- Captain's drive off : Saturday 5th April 2025 (2 ball scramble)
- Captain's charity day : Friday 4th July 2025 (4BBB stableford)
- Invitation day : Saturday 16th August (2BBB)
- Captain's day : Saturday 23rd August 2025 (Stableford shotgun start Hunting)
- Christmas white elephant : Saturday 6h December 2025 (Texas scramble shotgun start 10:30 Hunting)
